Reclaimed barn wood surrounds the Niko makeup station, a former candy shop counter has found another life as a manicure and pedicure center, while chairs, shelving and other accessories were sourced from a former pharmacy and local salvage centers. The Pevonia Botanica organic facial care line and mineral-based Niko makeup, skin repair and hair products – including international bestsellers Azucar (a talc-free bronzer), ICU Eye-Firming Gel, and Citrus Revive hair color protectant – ensure a perfect 10 performance, every time.
Along with the standard spa services, Reina Spa has created several unique offerings. A range of hair removal choices have been cleverly recast as famous royals, such as the “Queen Noor” (eyebrow wax or threading), “Queen Elizabeth” (upper lip) and the cheeky “RuPaul” (nose hair). The “Princesa” menu offers kid-friendly versions of adult treatments, while the 24 karat gold facial mask is one of only a select few offered in Chicago.
