Mart Anthony’s Restaurant began as a neighborhood bar and grill in 1981 in Chicago’s meat-packing district serving local businessmen and workers lunch, dinner and cocktails and a side order of Frank, Dino and Tony on the jukebox.

In the 90’s as the neighborhood evolved into a hot location for lofts, condos and creative business, the restaurant grew and changed along with it. Mart Anthony’s popularity grew faster in 1996 when the neighborhood and United Center were host to the Democratic National Convention. No doubt the Chicago Bulls helped too, by winning six NBA Championships, and making the restaurant a favorite pre- and post-game destination.

Today, in its’ new location, the restaurant is host to a diverse and loyal group of customers and a steady stream of new visitors. “Mart’s” has grown and prospered by satisfying appetites and providing an original and authentic Chicago dining experience.
